The Gatwick Region is home to many leading businesses operating in the aviation, aerospace and defence sector, with geographic clusters located across parts of Surrey and Sussex.  These include companies such Thales, QinetiQ and Chess Dynamics.

As a ‘priority sector’ identified in the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy, the Gatwick Region Airport Economic Zone will focus on supporting businesses in this sector.
