London Gatwick brings major hospitality opportunities to market

25 September, 2026

London Gatwick has launched its largest-ever food and beverage tender, creating a significant commercial opportunity for hospitality operators as the airport prepares for its next phase of growth.

The airport is inviting bids for six food and beverage units across its North and South Terminals, with the opportunities spanning more than 3,800 sqm of trading space.

The tender includes four quick-service and fast-casual opportunities in the South Terminal, ranging from 309 sqm to 790 sqm, alongside a 647 sqm pub unit. A further landmark pub opportunity of 1,084 sqm is available in the North Terminal. Operators can bid for individual sites or consider a wider portfolio proposition.

The opportunities come as London Gatwick prepares for future growth, including the Northern Runway Programme, which is now able to move forward following the conclusion of legal challenges. The privately financed project is designed to bring the airport’s existing Northern Runway into routine use alongside the Main Runway, increasing capacity and resilience and enabling the airport to serve up to 80 million passengers a year.

For hospitality operators, the tender provides an opportunity to establish new concepts within one of the UK’s busiest international airports and reach a diverse passenger base travelling to destinations around the world.

Stephane Geffroy, Head of Retail at London Gatwick, said:
“This is a landmark opportunity and our largest ever food and beverage tender. We are bringing to market a collection of high-profile locations across both terminals that will play a central role in shaping the future of our hospitality proposition.”

London Gatwick says it is looking for ambitious operators able to deliver varied food and beverage concepts and strong passenger experiences, with the sites available either individually or as part of a wider portfolio. Submissions are open until 12pm on 10 November 2026.

London Gatwick sits at the heart of the Gatwick Region and is a major driver of international connectivity and economic activity across the wider area.

The airport currently serves around 43 million passengers each year, with its wider growth programme expected to create further opportunities for businesses operating across hospitality, retail, tourism, infrastructure and related sectors.

As the Headline Partner of Invest Gatwick Region, London Gatwick is also central to the region’s wider investment proposition, which brings together public and private sector partners to showcase opportunities and connect them with investors and businesses.
